Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join our client’s team around K.S.A and ensure that all health, safety, and environmental policies are effectively implemented across our project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, excellent communication skills in English, and proficiency in computer applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Proficient in the use of safety management software and data analysis tools.
- Prepare and maintain HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) reports and documentation.
- Conduct safety training and awareness sessions for staff and team members.
- Respond to emergencies and investigate incidents, providing recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
Education and Certification Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety.
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer 2-5 years, ideally within the construction, industrial, or related sectors.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, IGC or equivalent).
- Approved by client (including but not limited to Saudi Electricity Company, Aramco, Sabic, Swcc…etc)
- Familiarity with local HSE regulations and best practices.
- The profession in Iqama shall match with the actual job (Safety officer).
